At Marcus Ross Counselling, I aim to keep counselling both professional and accessible.
Support is available through online counselling across Australia, with in-person counselling coming soon in Ballarat.

I offer a free 20-minute Connect Call for new clients.

- Share a little about what’s going on

No pressure. No obligation.
Important Information About Medicare
You do not need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) to attend counselling sessions.
Unfortunately, Medicare rebates are not available for sessions at Marcus Ross Counselling.
However, our fees are set to be comparable with the typical out-of-pocket “gap fee” that many clients pay when seeing a psychologist under a Mental Health Care Plan (which is generally capped at 10 subsidised sessions per year).
This means you can access counselling:
- Without needing a GP referral
- Without waiting lists
- With flexible appointment options
- With full privacy and confidentiality
Payment Information
Payment is required at the time of session.
Details for payment will be provided when booking
Cancellation Policy
I understand that life can be unpredictable.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged at the full session fee.
Private and Confidential Support
All sessions are strictly confidential in line with professional counselling standards and ethical guidelines.
Registered Level 1 Counsellor (Australian Counselling Association) providing professional counselling in Ballarat and online across Australia.
